Sustainability
We are proud to be a member of the Sustainable Furnishings Council and strive to always make the smallest ecological footprint possible. All of our furniture is made-to-order by hand, reducing the waste from mass-produced furniture and bringing you a one-of-a-kind piece. As a manufacturer, we get to control who we source from and how we pick our materials.
OUR MATERIALS
We make a conscious effort to manage our materials selection, seeking materials we are confident are sustainable, such as legally harvested forest products, responsibly produced textiles and recycled content. We also repurpose our fabric scraps to significantly reduce waste.
ECO-FRIENDLY FABRICS
We mindfully seek out and source predominantly sustainable fabrics. We offer a large selection of Libeco Belgian Linens that are no waste and biodegradable. We also offer insideOut performance fabrics, which are a fan favorite. InsideOut fabrics are completely free of PFAS (including C6), meaning they are safe for your family to live on with no airborne chemicals!
FUN FACT
Linen is fully biodegradable after use! An independent study has shown that a linen fabric will fully degrade after 6.5 months.

THE BEAUTY OF ALDER WOOD
All of our frames are constructed by hand using responsibly sourced Western Alder hardwood. Alder is one of the most environmentally friendly hardwood species. It has a very large population and a fast growth rate, resulting in rapid reforestation after harvesting. Because of Alder’s abundance in the Pacific Northwest region, it is easy to source locally and Western States, lowering the transportation footprint.
